Absolutely. Lake Bumbunga spans 15 square kilometres and is famous for its striking seasonal pink colour. The lake’s appearance changes throughout the day depending on sunlight, water levels, and weather conditions.

The best way to truly experience its beauty is to stay at the Pink Lake Tiny House and watch the transformation from sunrise to sunset.

The pink colour comes from naturally occurring microorganisms—Halobacteria and the algae Dunaliella salina. These thrive in salty environments and produce red pigments (carotenoids), which give the lake its distinctive pink hue.
